The principles that guide every decision
Core Values
These three values guide every major decision we make at Science of People.
1. Helpful
Is it helpful to people?
We only pursue initiatives that genuinely help people improve their social confidence and communication skills. Everything we create should make someone’s life better.
Assessment Questions:
- Does this actually help our audience?
- Will people be better off after engaging with this?
- Are we solving a real problem?
2. Sustainable
Does this support the business?
We’re a small team, so everything we do should connect to our mission in a sustainable way. Great work that doesn’t move the business forward takes resources from work that does.
What this looks like:
- Free content builds trust and drives email signups
- Email nurtures relationships toward People School
- Speaking builds brand and authority
- AI Coach lets people experience our methodology
3. Ethical
Is it ethical?
We maintain high ethical standards in all business practices and content creation. We teach influence, not manipulation.
What this means:
- Science-backed claims only
- Honest marketing (no fake scarcity)
- User-first product decisions
- Transparent about limitations
- Help people connect authentically
Values in Action
When evaluating any initiative, ask:
| Question | If No… |
|---|---|
| Is it helpful? | Don’t do it |
| Does it support the business? | Deprioritize it |
| Is it ethical? | Absolutely don’t do it |
All three must be true for a major initiative to proceed.
